Waukesha County Community Foundation Welcomes New Board Member

Rick Verthein added to Foundation’s Board of Directors

The Waukesha County Community Foundation is pleased to welcome Rick Verthein to the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

“Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of community leaders committed to Waukesha County,” said Melissa Baxter, President of the Waukesha County Community Foundation. “Rick brings financial expertise and community focus which will be great additions to our Board as we work together to further our mission.”

Rick is a director and family wealth advisor at Baird’s BVB Group where he has worked for 16 years. Prior to joining Baird’s BVB Group, he served as an intern in the Finance Department at Baird while earning his degree in accounting and finance from UW-Milwaukee.

In addition to his professional contributions, Rick is a dedicated Waukesha Rotary Club member and a board member of the Adaptive Community Approach Program (ACAP). His active involvement with these organizations gives him a unique perspective of the Waukesha County Community Foundation’s significant impact.

“I believe you should be engaged and committed to the community where you work and live, so I am excited to join the Foundation’s Board of Directors,” Rick said.

Rick resides in Nashotah with his wife, Jessica, their three children, and family dog, Dexter.
